Thanksgiving is less about getting every detail perfect and more about creating a place where people want to stay. For 2026, that means rich autumn colour, warm texture, candlelight, a table layered with personality, generous family-style serving and plenty of reasons to linger after dinner.
Whether you’re hosting, bringing dessert or searching for a thoughtful hostess gift, Scarborough Town Centre has plenty of ways to make the long weekend feel special—from Thanksgiving home essentials and unexpected finds to chocolates, cookies, beauty and family fun.

Set the Mood for Fall
The new Thanksgiving starts before anyone sits down at the table. This fall, the mood is warm, tactile and collected: deep brown and burgundy, soft textiles, natural greenery and unexpected objects that make home feel a little richer and more inviting. Instead of decorating for one weekend, choose pieces that carry the feeling of fall from September through November.

The Thanksgiving Table Gets Personal
The best tables look collected over time rather than purchased as one perfectly matched set.
Thanksgiving is the perfect excuse for a Winners treasure hunt. Its ever-changing selection includes home fashions from brands around the world, making it a natural place to discover the unexpected piece that pulls a gathering together.
Rather than creating an entirely new Thanksgiving look, find something that works with what you already love: a dark serving board, beautiful platter, richly coloured glass or tactile pillow that can stay in rotation long after the leftovers are gone.

Never Arrive Empty-Handed
A modern Thanksgiving hostess gift is thoughtful, easy to enjoy and just indulgent enough to feel special. Skip anything that creates more work for the person hosting. Beautiful chocolates, Toronto-made cookies, a book or a little beauty indulgence all say thank you without adding another item to the Thanksgiving to-do list.

Make Dessert the Centrepiece
Thanksgiving abundance doesn’t stop with the turkey—the dessert table deserves its own moment. Pile cookies and chocolates onto generous platters, let a beautiful cake take centre stage and don’t worry about making everything yourself. Bringing dessert is one of the easiest ways to contribute to Thanksgiving dinner and perhaps the most popular.

Stay for One More Round
The new Thanksgiving doesn’t end when the plates are cleared. Coffee, conversation and something everyone can join give guests a reason to stay a little longer.
Clear a little space on the table, make another pot of coffee and bring out something everyone can join. Games, puzzles and conversation starters can turn those quieter hours after dinner into some of the best moments of the weekend.

A Scarborough Town Centre Gift Card gives them the fun part: choosing something they genuinely want. Beauty, books, something for the home, a favourite treat or an unexpected find—the decision is theirs.
One Gift Card. Every Brand They Love.
